According to the Social Media Examiner report from 2013, 86% of marketers use social media networks to market their businesses. As you can see, it has become a revolution over the duration of previous years. Day after day the number of users increase with no limit and therefore using social media networks can be a great strategy to include in your marketing plan.
The figures give us an idea of the importance of being in social media, as a great combination of blogging and using social media can help you grow reputation and clients in less time than you may expect. It is a viral tool so your news would be spread by you and others allowing your information to hit a wider audience of readers helping you to generate relationships and build loyalty with your customers in a small amount of time.
Using social media for your business can provide you with lots of benefits such as the increase of exposure and website traffic, develop loyal fans/followers and convert them into clients, improve the search ranking, reduce marketing expenses and improve sales among others. The low cost related to the amount of effort of this particular practise is also a thing to keep in mind.
On the other hand and despite all of the benefits of using social media, you need to remember that if you don’t make good use of the networking tools available then you may damage your reputation. It's best to understand how social media works and have as much information as possible about the channels you should work on in order to achieve your goals.
With your GraphicMail account you will be able to use the social share tool in order to generate engagement and traffic from your newsletters to your social media networks. Also from your Dashboard, you can post to Facebook & Twitter simultaneously helping you save time and target both social networks.
Remember that developing social media campaigns might take some time and effort. Researchers have found that 62% of marketers spend 6 hours or more in a week to market their business in social media. Social media is all about letting people know that your company exists and having an online presence. However you will need to avoid excessive use otherwise it may be counter-productive.
When using social media networks in the correct way it can make a big difference to your company's reputation and growth.

Report & Statistics allow you to track the progress of each email campaign you send and allow you to compare the success of it against previous sends.
Our Reports and Statistics will allow you to check what is
most popular with your subscribers and giving you an indication of what each
individual subscriber is interested in. You can get all this useful information
and more when using GraphicMail's Reports & Statistics feature.
The Reports & Statistics feature within your GraphicMail
account will provide you with:
Bounced Statistics:
- Our statistics will show you which email addresses have been noted as Hard and Soft Bounced. They will also go into further detail to explain the type of Hard Bounce received such as Spam Trapped, User Unknown, Domain Unknown or Other. These statistics gives you the opportunity to keep your list as clean as possible by removing the invalid and bad email addresses.
Not Opened Statistics:
- These statistics allow you to see which emails your subscribers have not opened, allowing you to do further tests with other Advanced Features available such as our “A/B Test” or “Segment” features.
Opened Statistics:
- Opened statistics allow you to see who has took interest in your email, providing you with the knowledge of what they are interested in.
Unsubscribed Statistics:
- You will be able to view which of your subscribers have unsubscribed from your mailing list. Any email address that unsubscribes will automatically be added into your account blocklist to prevent you from sending to them again.
Clicked Statistics:
- Our clicked statistics allow you to see which links were most popular within your email and gives you an indication into what your individual subscribers are interested in. We also provide you with a Heatmaps in this section so you don’t just need to view numbers to receive this information as it is visually displayed within our heatmaps.
Shared Statistics:
- Shared statistics allows you to see if any of your subscribers have shared your email to their social media networks or if they have forwarded it to a friend.
As you can see, Reports & Statistics gives you the
advantage to see what is and what is not working with your email campaigns allowing you to get the full potential from them. Think this
is a good idea? Don’t miss out and Get the most out of Email Marketing with
us!

Email marketing is a great way to complement your marketing strategy. Once you’ve discovered the "Do's and Don'ts of Email Marketing" it’s now time to learn how to get the most from it.
You know it’s important to send emails to your customers but the most important objective is to ensure that your content within the email is going to be read. In order to achieve this goal you must first send short and effective emails to find out what your customers want to read. Once you know what they would like to read you can start to target your emails to meet their needs. This will help you to generate good feedback, engagement with customers and increase your sales.
With your GraphicMail account you can achieve this and much more!
You can create and personalise your emails and send them out in a few clicks. Once sent, take a look at your reports and statistics as you will be able to keep track of the click through, open and bounced rates. This will notify you if your email campaigns are successful or they will provide you with comparable results so you can improve them if necessary. If this is the case, we recommend concentrating on a few things that will help you become marketer of the year!
Remove any spammy words within your emails to prevent them from being classified as spam. The most common spam words are “free”, “coupon” or “discount” so try to avoid them. Despite this, you can check your spam score with our spam checker as that gives you an overall rating of your email content, subject line and the from email address allowing you to make any necessary changes before sending them.
Once your email has been created, it’s time to come up with the subject line that will introduce your email to your subscribers. The subject line will be the first thing they see and hopefully entice them to make the decision to “open” your email. As this is the point they will decide if they are going to open your email, your subject line needs to be attractive and interesting meaning your subscribers can't resist to open it. You can learn more about “The Perfect Subject Line” in one of our earlier posts.
Now that you've got your recipient to open your email you need to make sure that what they read is what they want or need to read, in other words, you need to look after your content. You can find out more about how to generate great and successful content by visiting our blog “The importance of content marketing”.
Finally, you need to look at the frequency that you send. Emails received on a daily basis are sometimes ignored, dismissed or even deleted and this in the end will drive you to gain more unsubscribes. On the other hand, emails that are sent out once every three months will not give you the best benefits as people won’t remember your name or brand and customers might forget you exist.
The amount of times you send to your list will ultimately depend on the type of email you are sending and your subscriber actions. It is best to always compare your Reports & Statistics and adjust your sending based on your subscribers actions. That goes for content, email design, subject lines and frequency of sending so your Reports & Statistics are not to be ignored.
