What Advanced Features Should I Be Using?

Are you getting the most from your GraphicMail account? We
have numerous advanced features that you may not be aware of or you may have
forgotten about. These features are there to help you with your campaigns as
they are user-friendly and are known to help achieve great results.
We have listed some of the most popular features that you should be using:
- Free Templates – We are continually increasing the amount of free templates that you can use so it is always a good idea to look through them to see if any fit your requirements. The templates created have already been tested so just add your own text and images into them and then they will be ready to send.
- Personalisation - Personalisation is a great way to connect with your subscribers and get them to look at specific sections of the newsletter. You can add any information you have stored about your subscribers, such as their name to recent products they have purchased. Also please note, personalisation is not just limited to the newsletter as it can also be added to your subject line.
- Segmentation – This feature will allow you to target a specific section of your mailing list depending on the information you have gathered. You can then send to that segment such as males between 18-25 years old living in Newcastle. If you have targeted a specific audience then it is a great opportunity for you to make sure the most relevant products/offers are presented to them.
- Inbox Preview – You should always test your newsletters to make sure they are going to be displayed correctly regardless of the email client your recipients are using. This is essential as any newsletter that displays badly can reflect badly on your company. By using this feature you will see how your email will be rendered in over 14 different email clients.
- A/B Testing – This feature can help to increase your open and click through rate. It will allow you to test different subject lines or newsletters to see which gains the best open/click through rate. It will then send that winning subject line or newsletter to the rest of your mailing list ensuring you have the best chance for recipients to take action within your emails.
- Auto-responders – You can use auto-responders to send automated emails to your recipients when a specific action is taken. You can use link or open triggers which will automatically send further emails to those that click on a specific link or open a specific email.
- Reports & Statistics – Are you familiar with our new Reports & Statistics section? You can compare your recent sends to see which gained the most opens/clicks. You can then create a new mailing list of those that opened/clicked your email so you can send further emails to them. Alternatively you may want to try and entice those that are not taking action with your emails.
- Social Subscribe – This new feature is a great way to gather data from potential subscribers as it not only makes it easier for them to subscribe but it also allows you to gather a lot of information as it is all added automatically once they sign up through their social account. The information gathered can then be used for segmentation or to add personalisation to your emails.
